...make those long overdue changes to life and home.
So, here's the essentials for...
Making Long Overdue Changes
...your home and your life. Get rid of the stuff you've accumulated that's just taking up space while adding no value to either life or home;
say sayonara to the people in your life who drag you down or at best, don't support you, on whom you cannot rely.
You know when things are just getting too complicated - that take far too much energy for too little pay-off. Step back, regroup, and take a new approach that is more direct, less involved, and, well, simpler.
Fix it, or get rid of it, but stop hanging onto it broken. Whether it's a broken piece of equipment or a broken relationship, make the bold but admittedly tough step to fish or cut bait. As the iconic country song puts it, "you gotta know when to hold'em...know when to fold'em".
Make Time to Rest/Relax…
At any age, but particularly at ours, operating on endless overdrive & too little sleep not only ages you faster (because the body breaks down over a period of time filled with non-stop stressors) but exacerbates (even causes in some cases) chronic conditions, from high blood pressure to depression. Starting now, build this essential building-block of health - R&R - into your schedule, as you do any other essential activity. Do not rely on others to make this happen.
If you haven't done so already, change your priorities from an emphasis on ownership of material things, to those that promote the legacy you wish to leave. How do you want to be remembered? What good do you wish to leave for future generations?
