If you're like many of our fellow Boomers who consider Spot and Felix as part of the family, your choices for where they will go when you go on a trip seem dismal. Thanks to our influence and spending (research indicates that over 1/2 of the $55.5B Americans spend on their pets each year, is spent by Boomers, who make up just 35% of the adult population), the travel industry now caters to pet owners and their furry family-members.
